Jello pudding was not a major contributor to Bill Cosby when Fat Albert was in Syndication. You speak the truth but it is highly inacurate. Yes he endorsed Jello Pudding Pops, but years aafter Fat alberts original series run on Telivision. His son may have been killed by a arian nation white dude, but most crime committed against blacks in the U.S. is by other Blacks. His sons tragic death had nothing to do with Cosby's statements.

What Cosby was like in the early seventies is almost irrelevant to what he is like today. For example, he remembers what it was like to not have much of a choice and privilidge to be sombody. He like many other older Americans who an remember what it was like see today's generation as a waste because they are not triyng when they have all of the opportunities to be successful.Trinis' who have lived abroad since the sixties paint a different portrait of Trinidad in their memories than what is happening today. More opportunity today, but yet people still trying to live a dream without working for it. I'm sure it is different to the United state, becouse there are fewer jobs to support a family off of, but there is never any valid excuse to cut ones opportunities short without trying.

Too many people are critical of Cosby for being realistic with one problem that affects our people , but everyone makes excusess for thedrug pusher, jailbird, killer, rapist, so on and so forth. I think you wewre the one who I was explaining "tough love" to. If you really want to help these problem people as decribed by Cosby, then you would stop taking up for them when they are wrong. It's like picking up a child or pandering to a child every time he/ she cries.
