I wonder if you really thought about what would happen to Black millionaire's with the public statis of Cosby and Oprah to endorse the ideas of a comunist leader. Maybe death, exile, or the lesser, a lost of a career.
The children who make it out of those ghetto's aren't the ones speaking broken english and hanging out on the corner's all night. It bewilder's me how you could come to the conclusion that this unacceptable behavior for any society is aceptable when it comes to Blacks or minorities. It is wrong to oppress a group of people as it is wrong for that group of people to oppress a society. We are torn in our argument because it seems like you sympathy for the abusers of the freedom that others before them have died to achieve. The war may not be over, but it's time for the troops to reload. Instead they are hanging out all night liming if you will. They playing the carnival fool all year round. These years have gone from one year to the next with little signs of the people trying to make any strides to improve their own living conditions or role in society as a group. the reason why is simple. There are to many sympathizers and not enough diciplinarians. Guess which one you are.
When is it going to be time for African Americans to utilise their resources to improve their lives? When will they rally in their communities for political freedom against corrupt law enforcement agencies and local government? When will they/we view getting ahead as a positive thing and forget about conforming to the man as opposed to conforming to a inhabittable society not only for ourselves, but our people?
I'll answer that. Never. Our children will never get ahead or even compete as long as they cannot speak the English standard of the U.S.. They will never get ahead as long as they are out liming all night instead of studying. The community will never rally if they keep themselves split on the issues and soft on the violaters that threaten our public sanctity.
