Re: The problem with Cosby
In Response To: Re: The problem with Cosby ()

Who killed Bill Cosby's only male heir? Was it a gangbanging, semi-literate, misogynistic, hip-hop rapping, baggy clothes wearing, grammatically challenged, ghetto dwelling African-American? Not! He was murdered on Mullholland Drive, just outside Bel Air, by a white skin head. Poor Blacks are not the enemy of the Black bourgoeis class. The fact that their latest cultural expression does not reflect nor include the image or footprints of the NAACP nor the likes of a Cosby, only confirms that it developed in isolation, away from and ignored by the white majority and the Black bourgoeis.
This current edition of African-Americans could care less about English and its attendant Grammar, they have created their own lexicon, which I might add is finding its way into the vocabulary of the mainstream. This recent attention is further proof of the culture's pervasive nature. Bill Cosby and his kind have suddenly found themselves irrelevant and are crying foul because they cannot understand the language of the current discourse. Well they have no one but themselves to blame. They are the ones who absconded from their community to sleep un-invited with the enemy.
Cosby's philanthrophy only exemplifies his bourgoeis tendencies. How does million dollar donations to Morehouse and Spellman assist members of the community now being subjected to his disparaging comments? The Bush administration is not alone in its inablilty to connect the dots. Until the African-American bourgoeis class recognise that an injustice to any one member of their community is an injustice to all, there will always be Rwandas, Darfurs and even Jasper, Texas.
