Re: What is this preoccupation with black unity

"Who de cap fit, let them wear it. Me ah throw me corn, Me nah call no fowl."
The national divorce rate in America is almost 50%. If African-Americans account for {+⁄-} 10% of the population, that leaves approximately 40% of non-African-American fatherless homes.
My focus was on positive style trends but since you persist in accentuating the negative, I appreciate the heads-up. I do think you have this denial thing bass-ackwards. European fathers deny their African-American progeny. Does the name Thomas Jefferson ring a bell? Look no further than the father of the American Constitution.
It matters not however: The recorded facts are that throughout pre-history and history Africans everywhere have always affirmed the ancestral line of the mother. Therefore, if your object was to prove our disconnection from our continental brethren you achieved quite the opposite. Acknowledgement of paternal lines of heredity is strictly a non-African ideal. Maybe that is why scientist have found the primal Eve but have yet to find the primary Steve.
Read your books young man!
How does it feel to be relieved of your burden of mendacity? Am I being "mendacantic!&*?"
Now if you want to deal with your fear of African unity I seriously suggest you turn off the computer and pay a visit to your neighborhood analyst. He could probably use the money, as under-utilized as they are in current society.
