So the chamelion has to adopt a new facade in order to respond to my post. My mother a devoted Catholic made a sojourn to the "middle east" a few years ago with her ultimate destination being Jerusalem, and was repeatedly mistaken for Egyptian at every turn by everyone including native Egyptians. My mother, you see is a bi-product of a more recent miscegenation that took place in the Caribbean basin after Cristobal Colon landed on those shores. I doubt your objection to the claims of Afro-centrists could equal the disgust my proud Trinidadian mother felt for those who mistook her for one of them. Modern Egyptians instead of taking credit for a past they had no party to, might try improving the cesspool that is now modern Egypt and try attending to the task of bringing Egypt into the 21st century, less another American bomb levels the entire middle east and changes again the face of the inheritors of that incredible ancient civilization.
