I find it ironic that with your name you can not or will not see the significance of a larger than life statue of Hanuman standing out of the plains of this island country as a unifying symbol. I am not Hindu but I know that Hanuman took a gigantic form to cross oceans in search of Sita and if nothing else his act parallels the dangerous journeys your own forefathers made generations ago. The statue was not made to buy votes like the stadiums. How much did they cost, and wouldn't a hospital have been a better investment, or atleast better paid doctors? Your response is indicative of the youth of our country. It is ignorance that divides us and wisdom that keeps us together as Trinis. The Swami at the Orange Field Temple is in the country for a short while. Why not visit him, godly one.
