It is virtually impossible to turn Mustard into Custard. The dishonesty in our society existed long before independence and the pace has accelerated over the past forty years. Successive Governments have reflected the will of the masses by their arbitrary behaviour and nothing is going to change that. Certain segments of our society are not as functionally illiterate as the masses and as a result while the politicians and religious organizations are feeding fertilizer to their respective constituencies, their practical adjustments to societal nuances affords them a much higher quality of life amidst the carnage and chaos that exists today.
