Re: Haiti- Gonsalves Challenges CARICOM on Haiti *LINK*

Your response is exactly why the National Debt is seven trilion and counting. It brings home Moyers statement that "casualties will die laughing".
Japan and China owns 42% of America's debt while they along with the rest of the world own eight trillion of your country's assets. If the Saudis were to pull their money out of American stocks your whole stock market would collapse. That almost happened shortly after 9/11, American's are treading on thin ice and they are oblivious.
No intelligent person believes that power will shift without violence. Just look at Iraq. China on the other hand is a different kettle of fish.
What are the odds that a five thousand year old civilization that now boast a one billion homogeneous Chinese population will capitulate to a cultureless 200+ year old nation made up of a few gutless fat cats and a collection of disparate groups that are becoming increasingly disenchanted with their leader's policies.
And, unlike Iraq, China has nuclear weapons, so why don't you do your country a favor and go pay off some of those charge cards. According to estimates the average American owes 6k of that seven trilion. So the next time you think of charging another gadget, remember that 42% of that revolving balance belongs to Asia.
