They say its just controversy
Some sordid-type beaurocracy
Using politicians, Universities too
Preaching lies more than a few
How could AIDS campaigns be praised
Without a single question raised
Hand on heart and standing proud
Shouting foreign tales aloud
Who are those in expertise
Forcing us all to believe
Speech in sync and eloquence
Still not making any sense
They say with every taken breath
Draws closer ever certain death
When still they just can’t seem to see
Who or what is HIV
60,000 researches done
The answer still equates to none
Billions spent and billions paid
Just to make us all afraid
‘AIDS is a killer’ went the calypso song
O how wrong was he who sang
Hog-washing as if it was the rule
In every college, every school
Doctors, nurses stood so bold
With all the theories they had been sold
Clothed in nothing but a brief
Upholder still worse than the thief
What about the fact of drug abuse
Needle intravenous use
Malaria, meningitis, influenza
Leukaemia, even dirty water
Professor Karl Theodore
You deserve a medal Sir
Couldn’t have done it better if I tried
We’ll soon choke your foolish pride
Some say that I exaggerate
In twisted science they put their faith
I sit and watch just how they go
From them there’s something I’d like to know
What do you bring to those who mourn
Loved ones who died in dreaded scorn
What facts and figures have you seen
I exaggerate, what do you mean
Scientists, governments all have shares
Lining pockets in their pairs
With a grasp on young and old
Desperate to keep control
Wear a condom if you please
Profiting the pharmacies
And when we diagnose you positive
Take these pills, you still won’t live
And one more thing, if you don’t mind
We intend to keep you blind
Even if you suss us out
Don’t you dare open your mouth.
