UWI campus principal, Dr Bhoe Tewarie, will launch the St Augustine Campus Evening University tomorrow at the St Augustine at 11 am. The university, according to a release, is intending to make provision for approximately 500 persons who wish to obtain a UWI degree while working, starting in September.
Registration and application processes for the programmes are the same as for full-time students. Nine degree programmes are being offered, seven of which are undergraduate BSc programmes and two postgraduate degree programmes at the Masters level. UWI noted that classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 8 pm.
