Law passed to make steelpan T&T's national instrument
Known the world over, the melodic steelpan, the most important musical instrument to be invented in the 20th century, will officially be known as Trinidad and Tobago's national musical instrument following the passage of legislation in Parliament.

WITH clean-up still under way across Tobago after the passage of Hurricane Beryl on July 1, the Tobago Emergency Agency (TEMA) spent most of mid-week assessing the damage to properties.
