Homework class teacher slain
De Coteau lived at Dass Trace, Enterprise, and was said to be a teacher at a "homework class centre" in the area, where he would provide guidance to school children in completing their homework assignments.

De Coteau was heading towards the centre on February 24, and, while walking near the Dass Trace Recreation Grounds around 4.30 p.m., a white Toyota Axio car pulled up alongside him with the occupants opening fire before the car sped off, said police.
