Five killed at Harpe Place
Posted: Sunday, March 17, 2024

Police officer among five killed at Harpe Place
Head of the Homicide Bureau Snr Supt Rishi Singh, who was at the scene, said the police could not give a motive for the multiple murders. "We will analyze everything and come up with the probable cause in a while, but we do believe it's gang-related at this time. There are things we're not prepared to put out there because we have to verify. I'm not going to say reprisal, but certainly gang-related."

Mayhem in Harpe Place as police sergeant among five killed in shooting
Police have linked the killings to reprisals. Sources believe the intended target of the shooting may be a man who was implicated in the murder of 11-year-old Ezekiel Paria in February.

They said while the man was not in the immediate area at the time of the attack, the killings were intended to send a message.
