NGC, TRINGEN sign gas sales contract
TRINGEN, is a leading manufacturer of anhydrous ammonia at two independent production plants - TRINGEN I and TRINGEN II, at Point Lisas. The company also operates a gas turbine power generation plant.

TRINGEN is a limited liability company, of which 51 per cent is owned by National Enterprises Limited (NEL) and 49 per cent by Yara Caribbean (2002) Ltd.

Indian classical singer Budram Holass has passed away at the age of 69.

Holass, who had been ailing for some time, died at the San Fernando General Hospital on Friday.

Reports: Vessel carrying Venezuelans sinks off Trinidad waters
In a statement, it said unconfirmed reports further suggest that the vessel left Las Cuevas Bay sometime after midnight on the morning of December 15, enroute to Venezuela with a still to be confirmed number of persons onboard.

The Coast Guard said its Maritime Operations Command Center is actively engaged in search and rescue operations in the area to confirm the information received and to locate survivors.
