Axe Labour Minister over workplace deaths

Indarsingh: Axe Labour Minister over workplace deaths
According to Indarsingh, this is the highest number of workplace deaths witnessed under a Labour Minister in recent history.

The MP called for the Minister's removal in light of the workplace tragedies.

He acknowledged that the Occupational Safety and Health Authority and Agency (OSHA) has initiated an investigation into this tragedy, but he said it's a development that brings him no comfort as the organisation hasn't issued reports on the probes into the Paria and NiQuan incidents.

The Couva South MP urged the organisation to reveal the names of those involved in the probe, adding that stakeholders should be appointed to the investigative team.
