Persad-Bissessar, who has previously called for Hinds to be removed from the position, repeated her call following the Prime Minister's contributions to the 2024 budget debate in Parliament yesterday. While addressing the issue of crime, Rowley said he would not be rotating the position, adding, "They (the United National Congress) had seven of those (National Security) ministers. That is not how we run the country."
