The cyclical argument continues to be that those individuals found guilty of murder, should not be put to death because Capital punishment does not deter those horrific kinds of crimes. This argument, supported by Amnesty International and other external influences, continue to prevail, as Trinidad and Tobago inches toward becoming the Murder Capital of the world based on size and population.
In actuality it is a rather simple matter. Those found guilty of murder should be hanged after exhausting their appeals if for no other reason that they may not be afforded the opportunity to kill again. Keeping them alive does not bring closure to the aggrieved families. So, I say; hang them.
