I have a friend who grew up as a child in Trinidad and he talks about making kites by hand w/ some sort of tree leaves/stems(?, construction paper, razor blades, and glass mixed w/ paste. I would love to surprise him w/ the supplies he used as a child to make a kite with his son. Can anyone please help with filling in the gaps....type of plant, other materials etc... and where to purchase them.
