I stand here watching my Nation die. I am helpless. It is as if we have been willed with the tragedy that is unfolding before my very eyes because it is as if no one cares.
Well trained puppies could not have performed with greater abandon than the two characters who bedevil our political landscape. Worse yet are the mutants disguised as members of parliament.They are in large part individuals without character.
Our poor are a source of irritation though of immense political importance because without them who would the presumed upper class dump on? Sometimes I wonder if this is really the land of my birth. I knew it then but this new Trinidad and Tobago appears to be foreign. Where did my Nation go?
