[Prime Minister Patrick Manning's government said last October it would funnel revenue derived from the energy industry into social projects. *About 12 per cent of Trinidadians survive on less than $1 a day.*]
Hey News, there is a radio commercial that a local Community College has on the air in my neck of the woods. A Trinidadian voice comes over the air and talks about how grateful he is for the 'opportunity' to attend this College. But the message that the Ad. gives to unsuspecting minds, is that, Trini is just one of these 'poor arse, hat in the hand scunting countries'.. Yes, now he is telling the world, "I cannot wait to get back to TRINIDAD to help those POOR people down there.. (but ah bet his arse is still in DC. today, living without health insurance)
Semantics is how they play their stupid game...
But I have news for them..
