Thank you Tyehimba for your beautiful comments about our Egungun festival 2002. It is only when Africans stop apologizing for practising and reviving our traditional customs that we( and others)will begin to respect the beauty and functionality of African culture.
I endorse your comments about the connection between the 'demonization' and suppression of African expression and the incresing problems of rising crime .... and social decay.
