Report from Tobago:
Roofs have been blown of in 14 villages. There are fallen trees and electrical lines. Though the worst has passed for Tobago, widespread damage is already running into millions of dollars. Centers will remain open until tomorrow.
School will remain closed tomorrow but teachers are asked to come out and assist in the clean up.
Report in Trinidad:
The Tide is changing and breeze is getting stronger.
Strong winds are coming in from the Western side of the island. Within next half hour heavy downfalls are expected.
A lot of police and ambulances even from the private hospitals are on the streets.
On the Western side of the island the storm surge has grown.
