Panday changes his tune again

LESS than 24 hours after saying he would “of course” go to Parliament if Prime Minister Patrick Manning sought to convene it, UNC leader Basdeo Panday has changed his tune.

In an interview with the Express yesterday, Panday said he would not return to Parliament without the holding of fresh elections.

“Of course I’ve been elected you know. Of course we must go to Parliament that’s our duty,” he had said.
