Well for anything meaningful to be achieved, people and by extension the leaders need to be properly aware of certain elements of history. At present, the gross ignorance of our leaders only serves to perpetuate the layers and layers of illusions and myths.

The deep illusions such as 'one love', 'rainbow country', 'all ah we is one', only serves to blind people to the real situation and problems in T & T.T&T is blinded as to who the real criminals are.

And the situation is further made complex by the fact that colonial-minded Africans and Indians have joined the ruling elite and upheld the the tradition of white/light skin privelege which accords worth and desirability according to one's complexion.
