Manning wage increase

Prime Minister Patrick Manning and his cabinet must be congratulated for ushering in the new oil boom in TnT. It must be, as they are continuing to give themselves fantastis pay increases in the wake of global recession. Manning thanks to the salary review commision on which his buddy Max Richards the president in waiting(up from speaker in waiting, you see what you did Panday)is to see his salary increase by $7,000 a month. My calculation have this as just around 25% . The other ministers and high profile public employees including the President( himself paying himself?) are also to receive raises of 20% and more. The PNM government obviously would try to justify this by stating that they must be paid top dollars if they want to attract the best employees. Bid deal the President of the US works for $300,000 a year which is pocket change for a number of CEO and high level manager in the US. So we must congratulate Manning and co. for word is out that public servants and others are due for similar increases, a la the oil days of the 70's. Thanks mr. Manning on behalf of all workers.
