The EBC have not been independent for a long time and the worst of it came out during the two previous elections where it was clear to all the UNC was in on the act to rig the elections.

No government is now expected to leave that situation the way it is. UNC fanatics will have to prove another government's action is illegal.

PNM had their way and UNC have shown they are no better so only non-aligned people or those from within the PNM and UNC who condemned the corruption within their proffered parties can have legitimate concerns.
