LESS than 24 hours after saying he would “of course” go to Parliament if Prime Minister Patrick Manning sought to convene it, UNC leader Basdeo Panday has changed his tune.
In an interview with the Express yesterday, Panday said he would not return to Parliament without the holding of fresh elections.
Panday changes his tune
Panday had said after Wednesday’s meeting with Manning he would go to Parliament if the prime minister sought to convene it.
