Yesterday, even Basdeo Panday conceded that the Manning government was legitimate. He lost because as usual Basdeo Panday did not consult with the members of UNC when he made that deal. He made it on his own and clearly stated to the nation on Television that the President could choose either of them and the President did exactly that.
