You should come back and explain how the President abused his power when both Panday and Manning agreed to let the President choose the Prime Minister?
And incase you don’t know there was widespread voter padding in that 2000 election. Many UNC persons were arrested. The majority of people who are not supporters of either of the political parties agreed that there was widespread fraud.
This case is simple. The elections were a draw and both Basdeo Panday and Patrick Manning signed an agreement leaving the decision of the appointment of the Prime Minister up to the President. They both told the nation that the President could appoint either of them.
