Caroni Central UNC making noise

The executive of the United National Congress’ Caroni Central constituency held an emergency meeting yesterday which ended with a call for an immediate return to the polls. The meeting took place at the office of the Member of Parliament, former health minister Dr Hamza Rafeeq. The executive has expressed the view that President Arthur NR Robinson has made his decision to appoint PNM leader Patrick Manning as Prime Minister since the night of December 10, after the general election.
