PNM administration's first Cabinet meeting

The PNM administration's first Cabinet meeting has established a committee headed by Dr Dhanyshar Mahabir of UWI, to ascertain the exact state of the country's finances, Prime Minister Patrick Manning has said.
Decisions on these and issues involving selection of an NCC chairman, as well as payments for public servants, were taken at yesterday's first session .
The 90-minute session, in which Ministers also met the various Permanent Secretaries, dealt with ground rules for Cabinet.
