The biggest crime wave to hit this country was following the elections that saw the United National Congress (UNC) into government for the very first time.
As soon as the UNC -Ali Baba and the forty thieves - got the keys to the treasury, the looting started that dwarfed all previous corrupt regimes combined.
Almost everyday the police are uncovering funds missing from state accounts. The problem is so critical that many believe that they police may have to open a special branch to investigate the UNC. (UNC crime stoppers)
From captain to 'crook' are implicated in theft as well as other acts of indiscretions.
