$1,000 pension by month-end

GOVERNMENT is gearing to start paying old age pensioners the promised $1,000 a month by the end of this month.
Prime Minister Patrick Manning gave this undertaking at a public meeting of the ruling People’s National Movement in St Augutsine Thursday night.
