As a person in the every day run of life I get a lot of feed back from people on different topics,latest being the Commissioner's extended term of office. This as I understand has the entire Police Service peeved, because Mr. Philbert is highly oppressive; demotivated, because their own careers are now staunted and frustrated as the Government Of the day: Dictator Manning and even Mr.Pinnochio Maxwell Richards seem to be cut from the same oppressive, authoritarian,highly corrupted cloth. Right now the morale of the police Service is at it's lowest. And to think almost nobody has anything good to say about the "Acting" C.O.P, is a real shame. It is said that all the drugs coming out of Cedros and Point Fortin is his, and he has his squads to run it for him. But even they would like to be promoted and now that he want's to be Commissioner for life, just like Manning wants to be Dictator for life, well there is a problem.
With no relief is sight the public can expect a poorer service and ultimately a rise in crime.
