TTPS: Officer who discharged firearm during traffic ticket confrontation made mistake Police said during the incident the woman started her van and was attempting to drive off but while doing so she allegedly struck one of the woman officers on her right foot.
According to the police, the female officer, "believing her life was in imminent danger, she removed her firearm from her holster and pointed it in a downward direction."
