Rise of funeral homes: Touts fuel chaos for grieving families
They're not only competing fiercely to sway grieving families in choosing a burial or cremation service, but they are also battling to offer the most competitive prices.

In their bid to outdo each other, these touts, working for numerous funeral homes, have been operating in public mortuary compounds without any State interference.

Dr Teelucksingh: Danse Macabre! What Cumuto burial site says about T&T's societal issues
Burial is not an informal act. It is regulated. There must be notification. There must be registration. Even the act of burial itself is controlled—typically one body per grave, except in defined circumstances, with proper depth, spacing and documentation.
