Terri Lyons takes the crown: Outrage as Helon muted
Terri Lyons' win at the 2026 Calypso Monarch last night was a bittersweet one for calypso lovers. On the one hand, there was elation that the woman who emerged as an early favourite took home the top honours. On the other, there was growing concern last night and into the early hours of this morning over the loss of audio during the performance of reigning monarch Helon Francis.
