T&T to allow US military aircraft to transit airports Government has confirmed that it will permit United States military aircraft to transit local airports in the coming weeks, as part of ongoing bilateral security cooperation between the two countries.
Government grants approval for US military flights into and out of Trinidad and Tobago Government also repeated one of several positions it has maintained since the US began its military deployment in August, that these flights are part of the commitment made by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar to collaborate with the US to ensure safety and security for Trinidad and Tobago and the rest of the Caribbean.
