And six former wards are now threatening to sue Peters, the St Dominic's Home, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port-of-Spain and the Attorney General's Office for as much as $2.5 million in damages as a result of that alleged abuse.

After putting out the fire, they found the bodies of 69-year-old Ceslyn "Linda" Farrell, her son Patrick, 48, and friend Seycelles Hannah, 41, burnt beyond recognition. The autopsies, done days after the killings, said the three were chopped and stabbed to death and the house set afire.
