National Flag at half-mast: Haiti's president slain
The Ministry of National Security is advising all state and non-state agencies and all Trinidad and Tobago diplomatic missions abroad that the National Flag of Trinidad and Tobago is to be flown at half-mast in observance of the passing of President Jovenel Moise of the Republic of Haiti.

Young added that the letters of awards were given out for two solar parks, one in Trincity and the other in Point Lisas that will introduce 112.2 megawatts into the electricity grid. This, he said, will free up natural gas for further sales. Regarding domestic use of solar panels, Young said he will have to speak with Public Utilities Minister Marvin Gonzales on what is creating a "bottle neck" that stymies residents from accessing solar power.

Babwah said he viewed the liberalisation as another form of taxation to impose on the already burdened taxpayer.
