PM announces state of emergency
From midnight tonight, Trinidad and Tobago will be under a state of emergency. A curfew will be in effect from 9pm to 5am.

State of Emergency, curfew 9pm to 5am
Essential services will remain exempted but that list will be revised and distributed by the government Saturday evening.

"We recognise that it takes two weeks to see the impact of the actions taken. We, therefore, recommend as an interim step to extend the lockdown for another week to evaluate the impact of the actions taken," the Chamber said in relation to the Government’s restriction placed up to May 23.
