EBC: PNM won THA election popular vote
The EBC said with an electorate of 51,062 registered voters, 26,385 votes were cast. This gave rise to a voter turnout of 51.84 per cent. It said the PNM got 13,288 votes and the PDP received 12,798.

The $50 and $1 denominations are the last of the polymer notes to be introduced as the $5, $10 and $20 notes came into circulation early November 2020. The first polymer introduced was a $50 note in 2015 by then Central Bank Governor Jwala Rambarran but this will also be changed out to match the new polymer notes.
