Trinidad and Tobago's bracing for a possible gas price hike. That's what some people are doing since there's been no assurance from Government that there won't be any hike in the price of diesel and super gasoline in this afternoon's Budget 2021 announcements.

Teen missing at sea, feared drowned
A report stated that around noon Saturday, Henry, of Battoo Avenue, Marabella and three other men were aboard a fishing pirogue near the TCL jetty when the engine stalled. Police said the teen jumped overboard and attempted to swim to the shore to fetch a rope to tow the vessel. However, he soon began struggling and went underwater.

Prison officer gunned down outside church
Police said prison officer Stephon Richardson, 28, of Indian Walk, Moruga, was outside the Mt Pleasant London Baptist Church along the Moruga Road, Third Company, Princes Town, around 7.30 pm when he was attacked.

No photo has been provided but police issued the following description of the missing teen: She is of East Indian descent, 5 feet 6 inches tall and slim built with a light brown complexion. She also has a tattoo of the letter 'F' between the thumb and index finger of her right hand.
