Schoolgirl shot in alleged sex den
An abandoned house, allegedly used as a sex and drug den by schoolchildren, became the scene of a near fatal shooting yesterday after a Marabella South Secondary schoolgirl, 17, was shot in the chest.

Cop killed at police station
A Special Reserve Police Officer was shot and killed at a police station on Thursday. Govindra Ramroop, 36, may have been accidentaly shot by a colleague.

A 17 year old schoolgirl was shot in her chest at an abandoned house in San Fernando on Wednesday allegedly used as a criminal den for sex with underage girls and drug dealing.

Court to rule on election petition appeal

This question will be answered when three appellate judges rule on whether the Opposition United National Congress’ will be allowed to take their election petitions forward. After three full days of hearing, Chief Justice Ivor Archie and Justice of Appeal Allan Mendonca have reserved their decision on whether a High Court judge should have granted, on September 18, permission to present the petitions which seek to have the results in the six constituencies declared null and void by the courts.

Ex-LifeSport exec charged with theft in the US
FORMER LifeSport executive Ruth Marchan has been charged with theft in Florida in the United States. According to the Bail Bond City website, Marchan was booked in September this year, at the Orange County Orlando jail, on charges of petit theft, retail and failure to appear in court.
