Re: Help find my family
In Response To: Help find my family ()

Hi Claudette, I recently came across your message on the net as I am also trying to piece together my family tree. My father hardly ever spoke about his relatives and I cannot remember meeting very many of them. I know that my father's roots emanated from La Lune in Moruga in the deep south and recently I made contact with other extended family members who gave me a few names and Jane Broadbelt was one of them. I would appear that the Broadbelt are related to the well known Gloudon-Granger-Guerero-Ochoa clan from down that way. I also once knew a gentleman from Point Fortin by the name of Mark Broadbelt who also indicated when he heard my name that I was a relative. I lost contact with Mr. Broadbelt several years ago when I moved out of Point Fortin. If you get in contact with me maybe we can find out more with each other's help. Have a good day.
