Re: The Privileged Class.
In Response To: The Privileged Class. ()

Is it me or does everyone in Trinidad seem like they are aware of their corrupt leadership and how it affects their lives for the worse, but yet no movement or pressure from the masses for a needed revolution? Let me clearify before someone tries to assasinate me in the States. The Country (Trinidad and Tobago) is in need for serious reform in order to become a more productive Country not only economically, but socially. No matter the race, creed, or color of T-N-T inhabitants, there has to be enough people in all groups to want basic rights and priveledges for the people. Everything from Safety, to employment. What is going on in potential paradise? This really boggles my mind that a country whose inhabitants with so much potential seem to be prisoners in paradise at the fault of corrupt leadership and still cannot muster enough unity as Trinibagonians to peacfully force change. Kidnappings make no sense. Victims cannot be found? Somone knows something. The country is only but so populated. It's better to fight and die for freedom then remain a slave in hell a while massa plays mas with a huge smile for the world stage.
It may be possible that political revolution may not be needed. There may only need to be a reform of the curent system. Perhaps if new officials are elected under the rules pertaining to the closed door business deals that they may not be as equally tempted to wrongfully exploit their country for pennies from the global bullies. Maybe, just maybe there may only be a need for massa to sell T-N-T short for the best interest of noone while he hide in Europe and Noth America as their countries whore? It already seems like T-N-T is the highest paid prostitute of the Carribean.
If there is anyone in T-N-T who cares about T-N-T, then they need to protest and demand domestic Change that will place T-N-T on a fastrack to becoming civilized nation domestically. Improvements in security from neighborhoods, schools, and on to the workplace. Executions for anyone trying to impead the progression for the country. Leaders and public servants must be held accountable for everything. These so called business minded leaders need to take a business mind to securing, advancing, and building that country. If everything remains the same, T-N-T will have a new and everlasting song to play mas to. The title,"Trindad a Waste of Potential".
