Once again the reaction is negative as a result of the holiday tribulations that BWIA is presently experiencing in travel between New York and other destination points in the West Indies. The behaviour of those Nationals who ran amok, especially at JFK would suggest that removing the collar from a puppy, does not change it's demeanor.
In the United States cancellations as a result of bad weather by many major carries during that same period, coupled with lost and/or late arriving luggage, was mammoth compared to that of BWIA. And there was no reported bacchanalian behaviour by any of those travelers.
This is a prime example as to why Political Gimmicks will not propel us into ihe status sought by Vision 2020. A rose by any other name is stll a rose and the same goes for those puppies whose obscene venting gave us negative global coverage.
