Americans are now faced with a cacophony of theatrical apologies as to who knew, when and why the matter took so long to officially surface, etc, etc. To top it off the US secretary of Defense suggests throwing the victims a few bucks. If all the allegations by the US Red Cross are correct including the notification to US officials that abuse was rampant among the Iraq Detainees since last year are you convinced that it was a small band of guards who perpetuated this obscenity or was it just the global unveiling of the American way?
