Spiritual Baptists from all over the country came together on Friday at a conference held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom, to issue an itinerary of events to commemorate Spiritual Baptist Day on March 30. The event, sponsored by the Rose Foundation and the Solid Waste Management Company Ltd (SWMCOL) attracted the likes of Archbishop Amilius Marrian of the Truine Shouter Baptist Incorporated, Archbishop Vernon Vaughn of Mt Gerizim Shouter Baptist Archdiocese, Archbishop Ivan Lancaster of the West Indian United Spiritual Baptists Sacred Order, Archbishop Stephen Julien of Mt Zion Independent Spiritual Baptist Church Inc of TT, Archbishop Neville Lacey of Mt Prisgah Archdiocese, Archbishop Alston Peters of the United Churches of Spiritual Baptist Faith, Archbishop Barbara Burke of the Council of Elders and several others. A number of events have been planned throughout the country for the upcoming holiday. There will be processions in Arima, Gulf City and Point Fortin. All activities will culminate with the National congress having the main service at their Maloney lands on March 30.
