Dear Mr. O'Brien,
Your remarks at the 125th, anniversary dinner of the Chamber, should serve as a wake-up call to not only those in Government who are content as they continue to sow false seeds of hope that ultimately produce fruits of despair--ad infinitum, but to those individuals (the masses) who have been deserted by good governance and appear to be so tolerable as their lives are being devalued before their very eyes.

I, like many others, view from afar, this gradual disintegration of the fabric of our National character with pessimism, till now. You were meticulous, pointedly so, and there should be no question as to the accuracy of your assessments. When everything appeared lost, you gave us hope with candor, honesty and sincerity.
